The search for the right semen to import involved so much research, both from afar and from actively meeting dogs in their home countries.
Race impressed us in terms of looks, temperament, and working ability and this was backed up by the dogs in his pedigree.
Kona was his first offspring in New Zealand and she was showing signs of being a star from day 1.
Anja is a star with a star. Kona achieved her Ch title with ease as soon as she was eligible at 12 months old. At 3 years old Kona had added silver, gold and ruby merit awards. Without the COVID related extended breaks from showing, she would have no doubt added platinum to that list.
Kona is a well rounded dog with a fun loving, bold temperament, who gained high scores in both versatile hunting dog testing natural ability (at 11 months old) and field trial QC title (at 2 years old) while also having time to be a dog and a much loved pet.
