I had wanted an Italian Greyhound since 1979, when I saw a photo in a book. Finally, Cassius (Champion Merikaez Yorick) made the journey to Beesholme from Australia in 2012. He became a show champion at the age of 1 year and 3 days.
This darling boy was joined at Beesholme by the beautiful and very feisty Connie - Amorosa Constance, Agatha (Ch Moonstruck Eek-a-Mouse at Beesholme), Sybille (Tuarua Tabu at Beesholme), and Sybille's daughter Ruby (Beesholme Babsy Magoo), who has already done very well in the show ring.
Latest additions include another Australian imported boy, Champion Tunamara Sugar Rush. Rush will be living with Caitlin and Nimbus and is owned in partnership with Karen Fee, Caitlin and Heather Straka. I also have the blue girl, Cricket, and the red fawn girl, Daisy, from Agatha and Cassius, as well as new pup Frida, from Sybille's final litter, sired by Rush: she is Beesholme Jelly Bean.
Rush's litter to Cricket produced a gorgeous fawn girl, Beesholme Butterscotch, who is being shown in the South by owner Karen and who has at the age of 8 months twice been awarded Best in Group at Championship shows - on consecutive weekends!
All of my dogs are health tested and will not be bred from unless they have satisfactory results.
