Pakowhai Beagles is located in rural Central Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. With over 23 years of experience in owning, showing, and breeding Beagles both in the UK and NZ, I am dedicated to breeding Beagles that excel in both type and temperament.

Our goal is to produce beautiful Beagles that embody the breed standard while ensuring a loving and balanced temperament. We are deeply committed to the health and well-being of our dogs, which is why we prioritise careful, selective breeding. All of our Beagles undergo genetic testing for MLS, Factor VII, Lafora Epilepsy, IGS, NCCD, PKD, and POAG.

We raise our puppies in our home, following the Puppy Culture program and protocols, to give them the best start in life and to ensure they develop into well-adjusted, confident companions.
