Elka was a wonderful addition to our kennels and we are forever grateful to Garbie & Megan Markotany for sending her to us.
Elka joined Grahden Kennels in 2009 and soon gained her NZ Champion title. In Elka becoming a dual champion we must say a special thank you to Gemma Bishop for handling Elka in the Canterbury area and at the NZKC Eukanuba National Dog Show 2010.

Elka had a very successful show history in Australia with Age In Show and many Age of Group wins. A highlight for Elka was winning Best Of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show under Norwegian Elkhound Specialist Mr Ralf Campbell of Norway.
Elka produced a beautiful litter in December 2010. Elka lives on in RBISS NZ Ch Grahden Montse Una & NZ Ch Grahden Mont Victoire.
Elka died comforted in Rhonda's arms, a gentle soul gone but will never be forgotten, 'Xtra Special' in our hearts always.
