CH Melandar Kishka SDX
She has also been worked in harness (sled dog racing) since 2000 and has recently gained her Sled Dog Excellence Title just shy of her 10th birthday. She is a true "Dual Purpose Siberian", an honest and reliable worker, fantastic companion dog and has an exceptional temperament.
Kishka took time out for maternity duties in 2003 & 2005 giving us some awesome puppies "CH Gus of Subahka SDCH" "CH Melandar Iced Gemma SDX" & then "CH Subahka Winters Breeze SD" "CH Subahka Itz Turbo Time" to name a few.
'Kish' is retired from the show ring, but now has the shared job of helping us to train her new grand puppies for their sled dog racing debut in 2009.
Kishka is pictured above, & also (to the right) with "CH Krieza of Subahka" a Joneka son and father to Breeze & Turbo. The 3rd photo shows Kishka in the 6 dog class in dual lead with her son CH Gus of Subahka SDCH @ the Vineyard race 2009 (where she gain her SDX title) along with her grand puppies :)
