I have had a life long involvement with Irish Setters since 1969 as my parents also bred Irish Setters. We have a small kennel located on our lifestyle property south of Auckland New Zealand.

At Karamu we are dedicated to breeding quality Irish Setters with superb temperaments, health, trainability through selective limited planned breedings. Our Irish Setters are excellent for show, obedience, agility and most of all as wonderful home companions that you can enjoy for a lifetime.
We are the only NZ Irish Setter Breeders to have combined both proven top obedience & confirmation breeding stock in our breeding programme.
