One of NZ's best ambassadors for this lovely breed - my first siberian and one who will always mean so much to me. A fabulous show dog and committed sled dog Meshik has run in all sized teams and at age 11, in his final race as a veteran, took out the veteran class beating his nearest rival by 2 minutes.
To date and at 15.5 years he remains the only siberian in NZ to win BISS twice under specialist sibe breed/show and racing judges. Winner of the dog cc under well known American Siberian specialist Bart Miller. Winner of BISS over the largest entry of siberians in a championship show ever. Sire of multiple show and sled dog titled progeny......Meshik can claim the honour of being the sire of NZ's first dual champion bitch and the Sth Island's first dual champion siberian.
I can not say enough about this lovely dog - thanks to the many many judges over the years who have recognised the true qualities of this beautiful siberian. Holder of over 280 ccs and multiple in group and in show awards.
Sadly taken from us 04/06/09 our hearts are broken at the loss of our treasured companion and my heart dog......
