Bismarck came from Perth from the Makker Kennels he is the third bernese Jenny and Deane have sent to NZ the other 2 being the highly successful Makker Nordic Frey and Makker Romany Bergerac. Bismarck lives with his part owner Julia Bryce in Wellington but is still a very important member of the Silvretta kennels. He is a very happy dog with a big personality. He has group and runner up in group achievements and recently (Jan 2012) achieved his 50th Challenge for his Gold certificate of Merit and at the same show as his last CC was Best of Breed, Best/Open of Group and Reserve Best in Show (700 dogs entered)
