NZ CH Melandar Joneka
She was just beautiful, inside & out, she came to us from MELANDAR KENNELS - Shona & Gavin Prebble & has changed our direction in siberian husky's ever since, Thankyou!:)
She was not just a "show dog" she competed in sled dog racing, weightpull events and even tried out agility for size, only to be forced to stop @ 9 years of age due to cruciate troubles :( fortunately her legacy still lives on today in her progency and grand puppies.
Joneka is pictured above in our 1995 race team, Deane on rig along with CH Kuvinaad Arjun SDX aka Echo, and Kuvinaad Ruso these 3 Siberians were our foundation dogs.

To highlight just some of Joneka's many achievements she was:
* Winner of the CTSHC Aika Cup - 1994/95 & 1995/96 show seasons.
* Multiple Best of Breed awards
* Multiple Best Junior of Group awards
* NZKC Bronze certificate of merit award
* Weightpull - pulled 300kg ie 15.4 times her own body weight!
